Worship at the Church of Baseball (with the Clash!)

Jezebel says that for the modern American female, "loving baseball is not only her birthright but her responsibility." I think Noise Annoys can safely go on the record in support of that.

So get ready. The Dodgers got their first win over those good people from up North for a good start to their 50th season in LA. Let's see how this goes. (Don't you laugh.)

Grab this boot of the Clash opening for the Who at Shea Stadium on October 12 of 1982 during the Combat Rock Tour. Shea is entering into its last season before the Mets move across the street. Info on the gig came be found at this excellent place. Footage will be included on the upcoming Revolution Rock DVD.

Hey, your "requests, re-ups" info said to put request comments in the newest post so you'd see it, so here goes:

I just did a search and ran across your post of X's "Unclogged" album like 2 years ago. The link is dead. Any chance of you re-upping it?

Thanks.

All of us here at the farm are HUGE baseball fans (Rangers fans - and yes . . . they ARE a professional baseball team), so I'm in support of Noise Annoys officially supporting Jezebel's mandate . . .
I hope the Post-Spring Break Blues eases up for you soon, we miss your sparkling wit . . .
Thanks for the mix, I just love Kirsty - "a new england" is one of my absolute FAVORITE songs (along with "don't come the cowboy with me sonny jim")and this version of "Miss Otis Regrets" has to be the definitive take. I'd never heard of Saint Benadette before - they're really good!
As I'm sure you know, C(aitlin) did a fine job of running the shop while you were off on your big adventure - I hope she'll continue to drop by from time to time . . .
By the way - the dork-o-rific video of Link caused me to snort coffee again (I didn't stain my shirt this time, but I tho8ught you'd want to know about it anyway)
