Feeling Good?

cough cough *one of my favorite Muse songs is a cover* cough cough
cough cough *and I didn't know it* cough cough

As the gentlemen from Bring Me the Heads pointed out, Feelin' Good is a cover.

But I guess what I said about the song still applies. It is quite twisted, isn't it? Even when Nina Simone sings it, it still sounds dark. Like the warm fuzzy feeling good feeling came at the expense of someone else's. And that's just hot. :p A sense of triumph.

Anyway, Jim of Bring Me the Heads was kind enough, after pointing this little fact out, to put up a link to a Muse Live for BBC Radio recording of this song. So I'll pass it on to you. Thank you, Jim :) And go check out his blog. Most excellent. And remember to tell him thank you.

AND. . .
Here is Nina Simone singing Feeling Good. Very Hot and Sultry.

Since the comment trail game is so much fun, here's yet another version of Feeling Good, this time by Eels (http://rapidshare.de/files/14647670/goodeels.rar)
Nina's version is the original, as far as I know.
Tis an excellent song, whoever sings it.
