Nanci Griffith is one of my favorite performers, her live shows are incredible (I've got one more live set, let me know if you're interested)...she always introduces her songs with wonderful little stories - my favorite is the one she tells for Love at the Five and Dime - close your eyes and you can almost smell the popcorn...
